9/11 Blog(HISTORY), Levi Reed– I feel like security is more important. I say that because we didn’t have a ton of liberties taken. I also say that because we don’t want another 9/11. If we didn’t crack down on this right away we could’ve had attacks in every state capital. Which would mean more casualties. This would probably cause our country to be United our completely divided if this happened. It’s not like we have no freedoms. It is more like a small sacrifice for a big cause.

8th Grade Blog (ENGLISH), Levi Reed, What should parents teach their kids about racism?– I think that parents should teach their kids things that we are all equal. I also think we should explain to kids how we are of different skin colors. We can do that by teaching them about skin pigmentation. We should also teach them what not to say and what is ok to say. We should even educate them on history. So they can see how far we’ve come in society compared to what it used to be. Sure they’re still racist people around but it isn’t as common as it once was.

8th Grade Blog (ENGLISH), Levi Reed, Is it harder to grow up in the 21st Century than it was in the past?– I think that growing up in the past was much harder. Especially because of descrimination. Blacks weren’t allowed to live a normal life with freedoms that america offered them. They couldn’t go into certain resteraunts. They even had different waterfountains and bathrooms. Today everyone has freedom. We only have seperate bathrooms for men and women not whites and blacks. Although it may seem bad now it isn’t close to as bad as it once was.
